Upgrades

Upgrades are crucial to your success. There are two primary sources for upgrades, one is the Upgrade Center which is located throughout the galaxy in both Sector 1 and other Mall Sectors(green on the universe map). Other upgrades are located in Race Houses which are shops that move randomly to a new sector at the Maint and carry upgrades specific to a particular race.

Some upgrades provide boosts to standard ship stats, such as an increase in shields or armor. Others may be single-use upgrades such as a Yap Bomb. These single-use upgrades will give your upgrade slot back once the upgrade is used.
